Open Call for the ENPOWER Leadership Programme

ENPOWER is inviting interested stakeholders to join its capacity building programme, aimed at promoting knowledge sharing to equip different actors with the knowledge and tools to replicate and scale tested technical solutions and social approaches developed in the ENPOWER project. The curriculum will be split into four modules, covering energy communities, digital solutions, citizen activation and social engagement, and will be delivered in both virtual and in-person formats.

The programme is designed to:

●    Share real-life experiences from energy communities & lessons learned,
●    Showcase methodologies for activating energy citizens
●    Educate on digital tools and services for community energy planning
●    Train in Social sciences and humanities (SSH) methods to engage citizens and local actors
●    Build transnational networks with EU actors.

Key dates:

●    Registrations open: May 2025
●    Capacity building activities start in September
●    Capacity building activities end in August 2026

Registrations are possible on a rolling basis.

We encourage applications from:
●    Initiators and facilitators of (already existing) energy communities
●    Local and regional governments interested in promoting energy communities
●    Public and private companies who can provide services to energy communities
Additionally, the following stakeholders may benefit from the programme:
●    Energy agencies
●    Civil society organisations
●    Value chain energy stakeholders (Energy Service Companies, Retailers, etc.)
●    Other Citizens or Organisations with an interest in technology and community-based approaches to the energy transition.
