8th EcoMobility Conference in Athens

For the 8th consecutive year, the Hellenic Association for Energy Economics (HAEE) organised the largest Conference on Electromobility on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at the Hellenic Motor Museum in Athens.

The 8th Electromobility Conference focused on the challenges of market maturation for electromobility in Greece, the need for further expansion of charging infrastructure in the Greek market, new research innovations, and safety concerns that have been prominent at the conference in recent years:

• Is it essential to continue the subsidy for electric vehicles in the coming years?

• How is the development of public charging infrastructure progressing? Is it sufficient, or should it be accelerated?

• Are the targets and deadlines for electric vehicle fleets and infrastructure in the EU too ambitious? How are car manufacturers and the industry in general responding to these goals?

• Will my next car be electric or conventional?

• Will the regulations on transporting electric vehicles by ship become stricter?

NTUA participated at the conference and presented ENPOWER's activities within the Greek pilot in a presentation about "E-mobility in the Everyday Life of Cities".
